Tackle Twill
What is Tackle Twill?
Tackle twill, or appliqué, involves the sewing down of material, usually a poly twill, to clothing. Originally, the twill was laid down and sewn with a sewing machine one letter at a time. Lots of clothing was done this way. Baseball uniforms and school names could be done easily and even split front uniforms.
Using embroidery machines with combinations of embroidery and twill can be used to create intricate, 3-dimensional designs that are large, inexpensive and absolutely gorgeous. Teams, Schools, Colleges and many others have used Twill to brand their players and alumni for years.Twill can be applied to many diffrent types of garmets giving a high quality finish at a great price.
